Finnick had only been home a week when the men came and knocked on his door. “Finnick Odair?” the larger of the pair asked. He looked at each of them and then gave a slight nod.
“We need you to come with us,” they said. It didn’t sound like a question. “It seems you were very popular with the people of the Capitol. The President is in need of your services.” When he didn’t respond, they continued. “You will have all the luxuries of the Capitol.  And all the women you could ever want.”
Visions of Annie rushed through Finnick’s head. He didn’t need other women, or the Capitol’s ridiculous luxuries. He’d seen all they could afford during the Games, and had no desire to further entertain those sick pleasures. “And if I refuse?” He asked. A dark glance passed between the two men, and the threat was palpable as the large man said, “We’d recommend you didn’t.”
